YOUR ALMOST THERE!!!!!
Every once in a while a person will come along that will make his mark. That is exactly what Michael "Wheels" Parise does every time he hits the stage. With his gregarious smile and unparalleled presence, he is a definite force to be reckoned with. Wheels has gained more notoriety in the past ten years than most comics do in twenty. He is definitely ahead of his personal timetable. Wheels started doing comedy ten years ago at Pips comedy club in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn. Even in the raw stages, he knew he had something that is not easy to come by and that is excellent delivery and timing. He was committed and dedicated to going on stage as much as he could and nothing would stop him. Soon, that commitment and dedication would pay off. In two years, he went from one hundred seat rooms to opening for Andrew "Dice" Clay in Radio City Music Hall (6,500 seats). Gracing the stage at three hundred pounds with just a bathrobe and slippers, Wheels, with his New York Italian attitude of being lovable and rough, kicked ass. Soon he would be touring with Dice, playing every state. While still on the road with Dice, he co-starred in the movie, "Dice Rules" as Dr. Slaughter. He moved to Los Angeles and as a regular at the Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard, he honed his act night after night stirring interest within the show business industry. Knowing July 10, 1993 would be his last show with Dice, Wheels did something no other opening act has ever done. Live on pay-per-view at Westbury Music Fair with twenty million viewers nationwide, Michael "Wheels" Parise would go on that stage and kill beyond belief, bring thirty-five hundred people to their feet, and literally steal the show from Andrew "Dice" Clay. That night was the birth of a future star. Soon to follow, on September 24, 1994, he sold out his own concert at Town Hall in New York City (1,500 seats) shocking the industry. Wheels has done numerous television shows, from the Psychic Friends Network, where he was the lead re-enactment playing Giacomo (World Trade Center bombing segment) to featuring on the Arsenio Hall Show to guest starring in the television show Lands End with Fred Dryer. His movies include Low Down Dirty Shame, with Keenan Ivory Wayans, to co-starring in a movie called Back to Back where he plays little Eddie, a mob captain. When Wheels is not busy on the road or doing film and television, he can be seen at the Comedy Store on Sunset Boulevard in West Hollywood, still working night after night getting ready for stardom. To sum it all up, with his expert timing and impeccable delivery, lightning speed wit mixed in with the presence and confidence of a gladiator, Michael "Wheels" Parise is destined to be Hollywoods hottest property!!
